Liberals Love Their Hypocrisy

Liberals Love Their Hypocrisy

( – While everyone changes their minds now and again, it seems Liberals are capable of doing it on a regular basis — and with astounding amounts of self-righteous confidence. Between the mainstream media, Hollywood’s so-called stars and Democratic politicians, there are many examples to choose from. Let’s look at a few recent examples.

The world has been devastated by the COVID-19 virus. That’s an undeniable fact. The disease and the response of governments around the globe have caused not only the loss of lives but the near destruction of the world economy as well.

In March, most governors in the US imposed some type of lockdown on their citizens in order to “flatten the curve” of infection rates and allow hospitals to prepare for the influx of patients. Now that we’ve accomplished this, many think it’s time to get back to work and try to resume their normal lives. When their governors didn’t agree, they took to the streets to peacefully protest.

The reaction to these gatherings was swift and definitive. Liberals called them dangerous, irresponsible, and said that the protesters “want you to die.”

Fast forward to May and June and the world is turned upside down again by the tragic death of George Floyd at the hands of four Minneapolis police officers. This event triggered peaceful protests that quickly turned into violent riots thanks, in part, to outside influences. These protests, however, were not met with the same cries of outrage from the Left. Instead, many liberal leaders encouraged people to express their First Amendment rights to freedom of speech. Did the virus suddenly stop being highly contagious? Or maybe COVID-19 doesn’t infect people protesting a man’s death.

In another crazy COVID spin, President Donald Trump is now saying he wants to hold his ever-popular campaign rallies again starting in June. Guess what? Dems are now worried about people being infected again. That virus must be pretty wishy-washy — oh wait, that’s the Liberals.

You might think that a cause that supports victims of sexual assault and harassment would be sacrosanct to the liberal community — you’d be wrong. The movement got its start in 2006, but really gained momentum in 2018 when then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was accused of inappropriate conduct in his youth. While there was little evidence to support the alleged victim’s claim, everyone from Sen. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to Hollywood actors like Alyssa Milano, said we needed to “believe the victim” no matter what.

Just two short years later, former vice president and presumptive Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden stands accused of sexual assault by a former staffer. While there’s much more evidence in this case, Pelosi, Milano, and others claim Joe Biden deserves due process or, better yet, tell us he’s innocent so let’s just sweep it all under the rug now. Seems like they really meant “believe the victim if the accused is a Conservative or a Republican.”

While the list could go on forever, we’ll just leave you with this. Liberals like to chant “my body, my choice” when it comes to abortion rights. Those same people are now saying you can’t use particular medicines to treat COVID and that once there’s a vaccine everyone will have to have it. Where’s the choice in that?
